"This Mad Hare Orchestra was actually inspired by the chocolate molds! I found this group with instruments and loved them immediately. Music has always been a passion and the cartoon-like figures each with his own instrument captured me. As they came to life, each developed his own, distinct personality." -Katrina
The Saxophone Singer
The Saxophone Singer is unable to speak and thus uses his song to communicate. He is so unbelievably good that some say he made a devilish deal trading his voice for his musical gift.
The Maestro
The Maestro is a formidable musician with an earnest demeanor and engaging presence. When fiddling, he exudes a nobility of effort; as he is emphatic in everything he says, one knows he means every note he plays.
The Accordion Master
The Accordion Master was born with two extra toes on each front paw. Due to this serendipitous peculiarity, he can simultaneously press more buttons and keys than any other producing a most unique sound.
The Orator
Likely due to a questionable upbringing, the rooster has always thought he was a hare and nobody has had the heart to tell him otherwise. His gift of song unites the group though he refuses to sing early in the morning.
The Drum Major
A talented percussionist, The Drum Major is incapable of playing on the downbeat. Always on the off-beat, he IS the 'different drummer' that those off the beaten path are following.
His inventive use of the orchestra, or big band along with his charisma and charm intoxicated audiences every time.
While nibbling your way through the Mad Hare Orchestra, turn on "It Don't Mean a Thing if it ain't got that swing" and give that rhythm everything you got. Ba ba doo dah doo
