"The idea of a flaming chocolate heart came about organically…from a historical perspective, I was captivated by the connection of the image to religion in so many cultures. Then there was the rock 'n' roll, tattoo shop, subculture flaming heart. Motorcycles + Chocolate…how to convey? A molded, mini chocolate heart seemed to be an off-beat way to spread the love, Valentine's Day or otherwise. In 2007 we created limited edition, custom silk-screened "True Love Drips Chocolate" Flaming Heart Tees; at my wedding guests dined on mini dark chocolate and chili-spiked cakes adorned with flaming hearts. The flaming heart has become an obsession."
