All Valentine's Day Gifts / Louis Barthélémy Brut Amethyste Champagne + 9pc White Truffle Collection

A brilliantly clear champagne with hints of gold—refreshing yet rich on the palate, while bestowing a fine and persistent mousse. The flavors are voluptuous with red fruit, a touch of brioche and finishing on a note of citrus peel. For your tasting, we suggest three white chocolate truffles: Ambrosia (macadamia nuts and Cointtreau®), Rural Blues (Anson Mills grits, burnt brown sugar and dried corn kernel), and Hip Hop (Krug® Champagne and gold leaf).
*Our truffles are made with fresh cream and have a shelf life of only 10 days. The truffles should be refrigerated until ready to consume. Bring to room temperature to indulge.

Louis Barthélémy Champagne is produced in Epernay, France, northeast of Paris and on the left bank of the Marne River. Contrary to Champagne's elegant and festive allure, the grapes that produce this nonpareil wine are grown in one of the most treacherous regions of the world, marked by chilly weather and a soil of solid chalk. However, these aspects of the unique Champagne terrior yield grapes that are high in acidity and of great finesse. Only three grapes are approved for use in sparklers made in the Champagne region of France: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meuier and Chardonnay. The Amethyste is a delicate blend of 20% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier and embodies the distinct and poised style of Louis Barthélémy champagnes.
