White Chocolate Olive Oil Panini

Ingredients:
  • 2 slices rustic Italian bread or ciabatta
  • 1 tablespoon Lucini Italia olive oil
  • a pinch of Sicilian sea salt
  • 1/2 ounce d'Oliva bar, cut into pieces
  • 2-3 thin slices of buffalo mozzarella
  • 3 kalamata olives, pitted and sliced in half
  • fresh basil leaves
  • a paper-thin slice of Prosciutto di Parma (optional)
Directions:
Brush each slice of bread with olive oil and a pinch of sea salt. Top with 2-3 slices of cheese, olives, basil, prosciutto (optional), and sprinkle with enough d'Oliva bar pieces to cover. Sandwich together and place in a preheated panini press until golden and melted, 2-3 minutes. Bite...mmm! A great hors d'oeuvre!
