Just in time for Father’s Day! Favored for its notes of grass, butterscotch and vanilla, we’ve taken the parfums of Templeton™ Rye and blended them with wild Musa Thai banana to magnify the flavors of both. Specially sourced, this Heirloom banana is cultivated using ancient techniques. Limited in its production, it is a plump and creamy white fruit that bursts with the aroma of tangy lemon.

These two unique yet complementary ingredients are blended with 62% dark chocolate cacao and the result is the melding of the wood, spice and heat of the Rye with the fruit and floral notes of the banana.

The most unlikely of pairs are most certainly a match.

(9) Templeton™ Rye Thai Banana: Templeton™ Rye + heirloom banana + 62% cacao dark chocolate + 23 karat gold leaf + banana

Our proprietary chocolate is crafted specifically to support the ingredients we infuse with it to achieve a taste experience matching the storytelling. Our 72% cacao dark chocolate is one of our most intense and has a deep roasted vegetation, dried fruit and a touch of tart berry notes. Our 45% cacao deep milk chocolate is a roasted cacao with a dense caramel profile that is achieved through the caramelization of roller dried, whole milk during the conching process.

At the heart of our mission is creating luxury chocolate collections with responsibility to the environment that sustains our earth. We have been sourcing Fair Trade or Rainforest Alliance certified cacao for over 15 years. We are powered by 100% renewable energy and abide by a green purchasing of procuring only post consumer recycled board and biodegradable materials. Our kitchen exclusively uses Organic cream and sugar. 

Throughout the Prohibition era, Rye brewed in Templeton, Iowa was flowing in the Midwest. The elusive speakeasies found throughout Chicago were watering holes frequented by scofflaws seeking this spirit made by many of the Templeton farmers looking to supplement the income they made for working the land by distilling its bounty.

The storied past of this illegal amber liquid suggests that it may have even been sipped by the infamous Al Capone and while no definitive trace of this tale exists, it seems very likely that this notorious figure of the time would have indulged in such a potation. 

Living in Paris, Katrina learned the Parisian ritual of purchasing chocolate and pastry daily. We use exotic and ephemeral ingredients for all our products.
