How to Experience
A GUIDED TASTING of CHOCOLATE:
A guided tasting to connect with the Above, and the Below, through the body and the senses. In this process of eating chocolate you will be brought into your senses and ultimately into the essence of self. Trust the voice you find inside.
Our chocolates are infused with a healing sound frequency, 528 Hz which is the same frequency as the sistrum, a musical instrument from Egypt used for ceremony and healing.
BREATHE: Close your eyes. Take three deep, ujjayi breaths. Listen to the space between thoughts and prepare your palate to experience chocolate.
SEE: Describe what you see. What is the shape, color, sheen and texture? Run your finger against the chocolate, noticing its texture and releasing the aromatics.
SMELL: Bring the chocolate to your nose. Close your eyes, cup your hand around the chocolate and inhale deeply.
TASTE: Enjoy your chocolate in two bites. In the first bite you are just getting to know the truffle, and in the second, you delve deeper, searching out the aromas and nuances. You become immersed in the experience of the chocolate and the sensations. After you’ve eaten the truffle, take a breath and taste the air. The aroma should have a long, lingering finish that is layered with perfumed notes.
LOVE: Open your heart to receive the love vibration that has been infused in this chocolate through a 528 Hz sound frequency. In the old kingdom of Egypt, the sistrum rattle created an “ultrasound” used by ancient priestesses and the goddess Hathor to manifest healing and produce blessings of joy. This healing sound is still
used today.

Bronte Pistachio
Italy
The extraordinary Bronte pistachio has an exceptionally precious harvesting as
the trees in this region are picked only every other year; on the off years, farmers
discard the newly-formed fruit to give the tree a chance to rest and recuperate
nutrients. Bronte, a village on the Volcanic soil of Mount Etna in Sicily is known for
growing this green gold, the frastuca, as it was called at the time when pistachios
were used as a medicine, These treasures are deep green emerald with a flavor and
aroma incomparable to other varietals and make this bombe an incredible delicacy.

Inspiration
As I continue to explore the transformative power of Spiritual Alchemy in my work with chocolate and the senses, the harkening of Egypt persists. The word alchemy was derived from the Arabic name for Egypt, al-Kīmiya meaning the fertile black land. This was a reference to the rich, dark soil of the Nile River valley that brought a bounty of crops to a desert land. Alchemy is the science of transformation on a psychological, physical and spiritual level. In Egyptian history there are writings that reference a group of nine godlike beings or archetype gods that came down and left supreme wisdom. The leader of these Gods was Thoth (also known as Hermes or Mercury), the god of consciousness, thought, writing, mathematics, magic, hieroglyphics and more. It is said that he wrote the Emerald Tablet and brought the knowledge of the universe. Thoth is also acclaimed as the father of alchemy.
Alexander the Great conquered Egypt and became pharaoh in 332 BC. He learned of Hermes’ tomb and was convinced it was his destiny to reveal the ancient secrets. Alexander immediately journeyed across the desert to an ancient temple at Siwa and here he found the Emerald Tablet. Astounded by the message, he put it on public display and constructed the city of Alexandria to study and write of the Hermetic texts as well as all the great scripts of knowledge. These writings were documented and held in the library of Alexandria amongst its vast collection of 700,000 scrolls which preserved many of the world’s greatest manuscripts and knowledge. Sadly, the fire of Alexandria destroyed most of the scrolls, but it is said that 700 survived.
What the Greek-Macedonians discerned from their studies in Egypt was a desire to uncover the hidden knowledge of the elements around them above and below. They viewed the cosmos as a gateway to contemplation, the sky showering us with their own reflection, allowing them to consider the afterlife.
What I take from this knowledge is the world is an allegorically rich place, and our mission is to animate the chocolate in such a way that the energy of its presence is equal to the taste of the experience.
Our chocolate tastings, meditations and rituals are meant to create a pathway to connect to your inner self and your intuition. In my personal experiences I have found that through a deep connection with the senses you quiet the irrational worries and come into a deeper connection with your visceral self which leads to a deeper connection to the sixth sense, intuition. When you are connected to your inner wisdom there is no fear there is only the energy of presence and expansion.
Peace, Love and Chocolate®,
Katrina
