"Les Fleurs du Chocolat has evolved every year since its launch; I can never resist the urge for change. While the organic blooms that inspire the names and flavors have remained the same, I often add or subtract ingredients from the mix. Two years ago I drastically altered the recipe for the purple orchid-topped bonbon. Caramelized bananas seemed to transform the flavor profile and it was agreed that it was our best truffle yet. What do you think?"
Dark chocolate + Champagne? It might sound like a bit of an odd combination, but give this one a whirl:

Step one: Pick up a bottle of your favorite brut bubbly. We love Piper Heidsieck Rosé Sauvage—its vibrant crimson hue always impresses a crowd.

Step two: Make a rose water simple syrup and chill the syrup (and the Champagne of course) overnight. To make the rose water syrup, mix ½ cup sugar and 1 cup boiling water with 3 Tbsp rose water and stir.

Step three: Add friends. Host a Sunday brunch of bacon chocolate chip pancakes and finish off your magical morning with the Rose Vert truffle paired with a flute of this special Champagne spiked with just a dollop of the rose water syrup. Just that touch of sugar adds enough depth to the Champagne to complement the dark chocolate AND rose water in the truffle…perfection!

For such expensive chocolate, I expected more.
The flower petals looked like they put them on after they were already well on their way to rotting, and aside from the white chocolate, the flavors were nothing special, some bordering on un-edible. Not to mention my order was somehow lost in the mix and didn't show up for nearly 3 weeks. I would not order these truffles, and possibly anything else form this company again.

Oh sooo good
I love, love, love the products from this company, so far. I was a first time buyer a month ago and ordered the bacon and chocolate bars. It was a surprise!!! It was a great combo and they just got it right with the right combo of sweet and salty. I love it and would order again:)
