Shipping chocolate can be tricky, because nobody likes melted chocolate. But we are experts at it, so rest assured your little treasures will arrive at your door safe and sound. Please familiarize yourself with our shipping rates and policies before you order:
Standard Shipping Rates

Delivery Times for Businesses & Residences
FedEx® is our preferred shipping vendor. Deliveries are made to commercial locations Monday through Friday and residential locations Tuesday through Saturday. Saturday delivery is available for businesses only if specified (were available, additional charges apply). Our shipping vendors may require a signature for delivery at the discretion of the driver. Deliveries to businesses occur between 9 am and 5 pm, and deliveries to residences occur between 9 am and 7 pm.
2 pm CST Daily Cut-off Time
If your order was placed after 2:00 pm CST Monday-Friday, it will be processed the following business day.
Shipping Over the Weekend
If you are shipping a package to a warm weather destination over a weekend, your package may be held until the following Monday to ensure minimal time in transit.
Our Chicago and New York Purple Houses can messenger your order for Same Day Delivery starting at $19.95. Restrictions may apply. For local delivery within Chicago, you can place your order online and select Chicago Courier as your shipping method. Shipping chocolate is tricky business. We work hard to ensure that our chocolate is delivered fresh and in perfect condition. To reduce the risk of melted chocolate on orders in transit to warmer climates (74 degrees and higher), a $10.00 charge for ice packs may be added to your order during checkout. If the temperatures in your shipping area do not warrant coolants, this charge will be removed during processing.
We do not ship alcohol internationally or to the following states: AL, AR, DE, IN, KS, KY, ME, NH, MD, MA, MS, MT, NJ, OK, PA, SD, TN, UT. In all other states, delivery requires signature from recipient age 21 or over.

When Will My Order Arrive?

All Orders leave our Chicago facility within 24 hours of processing, subject to inventory availability. International orders ship on Mondays and Tuesdays only. In order to ensure the best possible product, orders cannot ship over the weekend during warm weather months. Thus, Standard shipping packages may be held until the following Monday to ensure minimal time in transit.
