A Chocolate Bathing Ritual for Peace and Deep Serenity

Immerse yourself in therapeutic bliss with a Chocolate Bathing Ritual for Peace & Deep Serenity!

Close your eyes and inhale. Ground and center yourself. Release any worries in your mind by collecting them in your hands and discarding them to your sides.

Smudge your bathroom with your Palo Santo wood, wafting the smoke into every corner.

Draw a warm bath, filling it half way and adding in one cup of our Forest Slumber Bath Soak, or make your own. Set the mood by lighting candles and placing your cherished crystals or talismans around the bath. Soak for 25 minutes and then rinse with warm water. While you are still wet, run a block of cocoa butter over your skin and airdry as you allow the moisture and healing benefits to envelop you.

Next, infuse your state of peace with an intention and choose your chocolate. Are you on the path to dreamland or a feeling more serene? Come to a comfortable seat, visualize and say to yourself, “to the divine energy of peace, guidance and abundance, I thank you for the blessings as I move forward in this light.”

Place the chocolate in your dominant hand and breathe seven times, deeply. Say out loud, “I am at peace, I am in peace, I am peace.” Close your eyes and visualize this. As you rest in your place of peace, eat your chocolate, noticing all the sensory cues: how it sounds, feels, smells, looks and tastes. Know in your heart and soul that peace guides you.

Bath Salt & Soak Recipes

Our Forest Slumber bathing salts from our Dream Ritual Collection are handcrafted with a symphony of all-natural essential oils like cypress pine and atlas cedarwood, clary sage, and a spice of ginger, creating a forest-infused oasis in your bathtub. This luxurious blend is further enhanced with the antioxidant-rich power of Vitamin C and the restorative benefits of magnesium flakes, promoting detoxification and relaxation.

But! Making your own bath salt or soak is an excellent way to get in touch with yourself as you follow the path to relaxation. Here are a few of our favorite homemade bath soak recipes that you can make at home...

Fit for a Queen

- In a small bowl mix 1 cup of fine grain Dead Sea Salts with a 1/2 cup Almond oil.
- Add 5-10 drops of lavender, peppermint, cedar, or rose essential oil to this mixture. Feel free to adjust the amount of each oil to your liking. These particular scents were favored by the Ancient Egyptians and used for beauty rituals, healing benefits, and connections to the divine. We recommend 3 drops lavender, 3 drops rose, 2 drops peppermint and 2 drops cedar.
- Use this mixture as a scrub to polish the skin or dissolve in warm bath water.

 Vetiver Relaxation Salt Bath

- Run the bath to your desired temperature and pour in 2 pounds of medical grade Epsom salt.
- Add 35 drops of vetiver oil and 15 drops of clary sage oil directly to the bath.
- As you inhale the scent of this healing concoction, focus on that grounding feeling that travels from your head down to the tips of your toes.
- Immerse yourself in the bath for 20 minutes as you feel the the Epsom salt remove the bodies impurities while the oil mixture calms the nerves.
- Remove yourself after 20 minutes so as not to reabsorb the toxins. Follow with your favorite cocoa or shea butter.

Forest Slumber Bath Salts

-In a non-reactive bowl, mix 2 cups Epsom salt, 1/2 cup pink Himalayan salt, 1/2 cup bentonite white clay (optional), 1 cup of baking soda and 2 teaspoons of vitamin C powder.
