Fall Equinox, A Time Of Abundance

The Fall Equinox marks our entrance into the Fall season and reminds us of the abundance in our lives. The leaves begin to turn and the sun is lower in the sky producing vibrant colors. The length of day and night are almost the same, signaling a time to slow down and appreciate all the beauty you have in your life.

Garnet and ochre colors, full flavors and amazing quilted textures punctuate this glorious juncture. It’s a time when I like to surround myself with items that remind me to care for myself with abundance! Inspired by the richness of the Fall bounty, colors and textures inspire me to create new cacao based recipes, Golden Moon Milk, herbs, oils, tinctures of elixirs. These creations give additional texture to life and comfort me as we move into the darker days.

I love to build an altar with harvest fruits, gratitude lists, intentions and chocolates. I stir my thoughts with a focus on balance, sharing foods, feasting on apples and counting blessing to the thousands.
