Lunar New Year Blood Orange Caramel Marshmallows

The packaging for these is outstanding. I ordered these as guest favors for my annual Lunar New Year party, and everything else I saw online had cheesy horse designs, but this one is a beautiful work of art. The marshmallows taste delectable, they are sweet but also have a tart citrus note. The package arrived with a thorough description about how to keep the chocolate fresh.

The pictures for this product show a generous amount of marshmallow topped with oozy caramel, coated in chocolate.

That’s not what you receive.

I’ve attached a picture to show how different what you actually get is.
Instead, you will not be treated to orange infused caramel… but an incredibly THICK layer of orange gelatin that just obliterates any other flavor you might have experienced. It also creates a weird, unpleasant chewy experience.

So, if you really love orange gum drops, this is for you, but if you were actually hoping for lovely marshmallow & caramel flavor & texture, I’d give this a hard pass.

In the picture, the large shiny middle bit is the gelatin experience you’re in for.

For whatever reason, these are my favorites. Love the mix of marshmallow and caramel textures and the combination of orange, chocolate and hibiscus. Would like to see them available year round sans extravagant packaging.

This was a gift so I didn’t get to taste them myself. Recipient said, “Delicious!”

Omg this is such a delicious perfect multilayer treat. The pillowy delicious marshmallow with the perfectly formed orange layer and the slight caramel with the dark chocolate and somehow slightly crunchy feel this was better than I hoped. You people are masters!

These marshmallows are delicious! I have been wanting to try them and finally added to my cart. I am so glad I did. Perfect combination of chocolate, caramel and marshmallow. Try them!

Beautiful packaging, will save to keep trinkets in. Marshmallow lovely and not too sweet, hibiscus added some bitter brightness to accompany the citrus caramel.

The Lunar New Year packaging was absolutely gorgeous and added to how premium the gift was. The recipient also enjoyed them and wished there were more so I consider that a big win.

The luna marshmallow chocolates are amazingly delightful.

This is simply amazing – the combination of flavors & textures is perfect! I'm not sure what the technical difference is between these and the regular "Blood Orange Hibiscus Caramel Marshmallows," but these Good Fortune ones are somehow even better than those... they are celestial! Wow!!!

The recipient's verdict: "Just the right amount of fluffy marshmallow to yummy chocolate with that burst of citrus."

The gift chocolates were not only delicious but were also superbly presented. The whole experience was soaked in excellence, style and richness. A completely delicious experience from start to finish.

The orange explodes with great taste as your bite enjoys the caramel and soft marshmallow.

This was a great experience, from the packaging to the marshmallows themselves. We have a family of four, so we cut the marshmallows in half so everyone was able to enjoy them. We also ended up purchasing two more to send to our family in North Carolina and Georgia!

I love the standard Carmel marshmallows but not these so much, The orange filling was gelatinous in an unpalatable way. In general I was not happy with any of the snake offerings. Have some boxes languishing in the down stairs fridge. Made me hesitant to go for the valentine offerings. Last years were fabulous (valentine's) - but last years everything was wonderful until the December box. Could be just a flavor preference. I love your bars and am looking forward to the good luck cakes/lemon raspberry

These are clouds of marshmallow, with the tartness of orange, and bittersweet chocolate shell. You couldn’t ask for a more scrumptious bite. Mmm, delightful:)

The packaging immediately makes this gift a pleasure for the eyes and then your taste buds. The combination of orange, chocolate and marshmallow delighted us and started our new year off right!

Despite a slight discrepancy in marshmallow size between the received box and the product image, my overall experience with this chocolate was quite positive. The flavor balance was excellent, with neither the blood orange candy nor the caramel overpowering the other. Each bite offered a delightful interplay of sweetness and tanginess. I particularly appreciated the subtle sweetness, making it enjoyable to savor all three flavors.
To be honest, it was a refreshing and satisfying chocolate experience. I would definitely purchase this again!
