Wild Cacao Ensemble

Delicious and well packaged. All the flavors are so different. The boxes are also so bright and colorful. My family enjoyed all the chocolates and smelling each one.

I ordered the Wild Cacao Ensemble and… wow. Absolutely incredible. The flavors were bold, unexpected, and somehow perfectly balanced. Every piece felt like a tiny adventure.

This isn’t my first purchase from Vosges, and they continue to exceed expectations. The chocolate is exceptional, but the presentation deserves its own applause. The box is stunning and so well-made that I’ll definitely be keeping it to store a few little treasures.

They also include a beautiful little guide with suggestions for turning the tasting into a ritual… how to slow down, what to notice, how to really savor each piece. It makes the whole experience feel thoughtful and special, not rushed.

If you’re on the fence, don’t be. It’s an experience, not just chocolate.

This was a very fun collection. The names are exquisite, the variety is fun, and many of the chocolates are absolutely delicious. I also love that there are several of each for a great sharing experience! Thank you for the delightful box of treats!

As always, the chocolate is beyond delicious. The explanation or stories for the chocolate are scrumptious. The box that holds the chocolate is superb. I am beyond grateful that I discovered Vosges many years ago. Each truffle is my most favourite ever.

The best chocolate I have ever eaten. I love the scotch pairing one too. Actually get this brand 5-6 times a year purchased by me or gifted by my son who knows I love it.

Actually, I was disappointed. Although exotic, they weren't pleasing to eat. I had bought your orange hibiscus caramels at a store and they were the best sweet thing I've ever eaten, I expected these to live up to that experience. I feel like I wasted a lot of money,

What a truly beautiful box of chocolates. Each one was delicious and different than any other chocolate I’ve tasted, complex and well balanced. And the box itself was a work of art!

As always, this is an excellent assortment from Vosges of exotic, high-quality ingredients combined in thoughtful, exciting, and unique ways. I loved the pistachio bombe especially. Everything was delightful. I read about the theme of each piece and visualized it while trying the chocolate. As I tasted spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and paprika in the Zephyr piece, I could almost feel a cool breeze wafting the scents of the spices through a market in Marrakesh. I've never been there in real life, but the chocolate took me there!

My friend in Florida loved them! She said... " the flavors are so unique, I don’t think I ever had such combinations. I’m thoroughly enjoying all of them."

Yet again I am blown away by the beautiful duration of this collection. Each piece is artfully placed and garnished. Its always so special. Each chocolate tastes just the way it is described.

I ordered several packages this season to gift, the feedback by the recipients is always most exciting. Some save the packages from your chocolates after they consume the goods. The reason I chose this chocolatier is because it has Chicago roots, so I like to emphasize it in gifting. Next year I plan to send these for Chrismas to a few friends in other countries, like Japan and Germany... I also would like to mention that to me the veriety box which has different chocolates and shapes is a most interesting one.
Also, I wish there were stores nearby, Like a mall location in the suburbs. We stop by the one at O'Hare, but we usually fly out and do not want to bring the chocolates on the trip, sadly the store is mostly closed when we return.

It's become a family Christmas tradition to treat ourselves to the holiday truffle collection. It's a whole, communal tasting experience for us and we save the boxes as keepsakes. Unfortunately, this year's collection, even though it was quite a bit more expensive, fell far below in quality than years past. First of all, the accompanying material, all the text that usually enhances the experience, was much shorter and didn't take us on a journey. And the chocolates themselves were good but not excellent, which is what we've come to expect from Vosges. The flavors are usually so inventive and creative and diverse, but this collection involved a perplexing amount of passionfruit. One of the main featured chocolates was... a mendiant. It was tasty, but rather simplistic and underwhelming for Vosges, especially when you're paying over $100. It would be a shame to lose one of our favorite holiday traditions, but I'm really not sure we'll be ordering again next Christmas.

Professional and elegant presentation. Out of this world taste experience! My clients called me on a Sunday night to thank me (second time) to tell me about pairing the desserts with their favorite Pinot! It happens every time. Baby shower, birthday, corporate gift & many other occasions -perfect!

Everything about this chocolate is an imaginative, three dimensional adventure! I am invited to use all of my senses to experience the chocolate after reading about the delightful, full scale stories around the theme of the chocolate box. It’s intoxicating. So inventive and creative! I love it.

This was a gift for my daughter who has purchased confections from other makers. She loved the variety and thought the ingredients and flavor profiles were far more superior.

I personally thought the ordering process and customer service was great. I was able to schedule a delivery date and not only did I receive status updates, but the order was delivered as guaranteed.

I can’t wait to order a collection for myself.
