Raise Your Vibration with Chocolate Meditation
Music & Chocolate?
The relationship between music and chocolate is something that Katrina has been exploring for a long, long time. If you delve back into the history books of Vosges, you will find that many truffles and collections are inspired by Katrina’s lifelong love of music from jazz to rap, hip hop to reggae. It wasn’t until she started working on the Grateful Dead collections, though, that she began thinking about what might happen if she infused their music into the chocolate. The thought led her to explore the science behind sound frequency healing and how different sound frequencies can affect food and, ultimately, the person eating it.
During the chocolate making process, as the chocolate is deposited from a liquid state into crystallization, it dwells in a cooling tower for about an hour. During that time, healing sounds are infused into the chocolate through the crystallization process, which is 528hz frequency. As it comes out on the other side, it's now infused and stable with that sound vibration. The result? A softer, sweeter, and more well-rounded chocolate.
With the Grateful Dead as Katrina’s muse, the Grateful Dead Truffle Collection and two exclusive chocolate bars take you on tour with the band through the medium of chocolate. Inspired by her personal memories and the magic of the Dead’s music, this 16 piece collection of inspired chocolate truffles and chocolate bars encapsulates the spirit of a favorite Grateful Dead album or show.
What is High Vibe and what does it have to do with chocolate?
Ancient history tells us that the Mayans used chocolate’s healing effect to reduce worry and fear. By imbibing the chocolate as a part of pre-war and battle rituals, they were able to get out of their heads and connect with their heart's space. They would drink the cacao crushed with water and chilies, creating a bitter concoction. By drinking it, they would feel lighter in their mood, and they would say their heart would beat faster, allowing them to feel more love for themselves. This is raising your vibe, and we can use this same method of chocolate meditation today to eliminate energetic blockages and bring ourselves to this place. Whenever you're in your heart space, you're in an elevated state.
Simply put, High Vibe means to raise your spirits. It has a positive effect and brings you up.
Raising your vibe with chocolate means to draw all the benefits that exist in the cacao plant into your spirit, into your consciousness, and then use that to elevate your mood, to be able to connect with other people, to share that energy with the room. Being high vibe means your brain can take that healing frequency to potentially reduce stress levels, anxiety and improve results of meditation.
Rituals are the bridge to connect mind, body and spirit, creating deeper meaning and alignment with Source Energy. When we radiate with this trinity, through eating chocolate in purpose and intention, the everyday becomes extraordinary. Our Self-Love Chocolate Ritual is designed to give the gift of self-love to oneself or others through the medium of chocolate. Strong rituals created in a sacred space, belief in your intention, and eating chocolate with focused energy can heal through the activation of mind, body and spirit. These sacred personal ceremonies better align us with our purpose because they allow us to radiate our intentions and express our willingness to receive. We then become illuminated from the inside, and we begin to manifest a life filled with love for ourselves.
Which chocolates work best?
The darker the cacao and the higher the cacao percentage, the better. With chocolate at around 80% cacao and above, you're going to receive many of those benefits. In fact, you may start to feel a little bit of a high when you're having chocolate in that range of cacao percentage.
Cacao can help you open your mind to receive messages from above, and to open your heart space to yourself and to others. And so, that's what Vosges means when we talk about High Vibe.

How can you distinguish a High Vibe food from one that isn’t?
There is a pendulum test to see what vibrational frequency an object has. You put the pendulum over a marshmallow, or a potato chip or something, and you’ll see it doesn't really move much. If you start putting it over ingredients that are High Vibe, it will start to move. It's picking up on the energy, the vibration of the food. When we infuse chocolate with a specific frequency and energy, we can show that physical movement can relate to it. The pure 528 hz frequency is not very soothing to the ear, but it is embedded in the songs, cultural chants and mantras of indigenous cultures and is a window into how sound can affect mood and health. In Egypt, during every healing ritual, they would shake something that looks like a rattle; it turns out that the sound made by the rattle is actually 528 hz. As you look at the different indigenous cultures, that 528 hz range is what they all are using for a sound healing effect. It can’t be a coincidence.
By eating chocolate that has a high vibe you are giving yourself a wealth of gifts. By reaping the benefits of feeling well on a physical level, you can reach a higher vibrational frequency, and may achieve better overall health and longevity.* Mentally, mindful consumption of high vibe foods can be beneficial for energy and can assist in attracting positive experiences, positive people, and overall well-being.
