Haut-Chocolat Advent Calendar Refill

We loved the advent calendar. So after xmas we bought the refill for round two! The sesame bonbon, the blackberry oliveoil bonbon and the key lime were mind blowing.

On a whim I bought the Nordic Forest Chalet as a gift for my wife last year. It was a huge hit. I was tickled to learn refills were available since it was a bit of an investment. December 2025 is a "refill" experience and so far so good. A couple of the packages were too big for the chalet's drawers, but we can deal with the larger chocolate portions. Looking forward to refilling for 2026.

This refill is wonderful, I actually don't celebrate Christmas,I just love chocolate! I put half in the freezer and the other half in the fridge and followed the included directions to let them come to room temp. Each has be an absolute delight. The chocolate is as amazing as always. The filling however are absolutely amazing, I almost wish I had gotten 2. I am looking forward to next year

I fell in love with Vosges after purchasing some chocolates for stocking stuffers two years ago when visiting their location in the Chicago airport. Ever I’ve tried feels like a complex combination of flavors with the Hughes quality chocolate.

I have never before purchased Vosges’ advent calendar. For years I’ve been tempted but it seems like such large expense around the holidays when you should be spending more on others. I also own my own advent calendar that I fill every year with treats.

So when I saw they were selling a refill, I jumped at the chance. Even at a discount without the calendar itself, I felt guilty at spending so much. Now that I’m a few days in, it absolutely was worth the price. I was expecting only one treat per day, as most advent calendars would supply, but Vosges provides 2-3, sometimes 4 chocolates for every day of the advent. At they aren’t simple confections. These are complex and thoughtful flavors from exotic ingredients, and every day is something to look forward too. This continues to be my favorite chocolatier in the country.

I'm only 7 days in to Advent and have thoroughly enjoyed the individual treats for each day. The Black Sesame BonBon for day6 was so far my favorite. The Burnt Sugar Caramel was a unique flavor that I enjoyed immensely. I have a real taste for Gianduia, so Day 5 is so far on the top 5 of the list.
If this year is like last year, I know each day will have at least 15 minutes of chocolate joy.

We were gifted the advent calendar last year so when the refill went on sale, we were all in. A whole new month of delights arrived and we refilled. Every night we read the notes, taste and share, trying really hard not to peak ahead. While I LOVE our house (we actually have two...) it is so nice to just re-stock it year after year. Thank you for offering this option!

First year doing the Advent Calendar refill, and so far just as impressed as last year! Each day is an extremely decadent and delicious chocolate - actually more than just one, usually, so it’s enough to share with my partner. A new Christmas tradition for us!

This is the first year I have purchased the advent calendar refill, and I am extremely pleased! I have the 2017 Vosges Advent calendar, and the refill is perfect. Each day has been a delight. Opening each drawer delivers a few minutes of "me" time during a season that can become suddenly hectic. If you are questioning if you should purchase one for yourself, the answer is wholeheartedly "yes!"

The Advent Calendar from2024 was amazing in both the design and the exquisite chocolates! I got a refill for 2025 and I also got 7 La Bombs - wish I had bought 20 of those, as they are all gone! Thank you!

This is my third year getting refills for my Vosges advent calendar. It has never been a disappointment and is part of our tradition when beginning the Christmas season. The description of the chocolates sound so yummy can barely wait.

My box arrived on time and in perfect condition. But, after opening it, I found many of the chocolate to be smashed in their packages. This could only have been done during packaging by employees.

This is the 4th year I have gotten this calendar refill. We love refilling our calendar from several years ago. It is such great way to try a bunch of different chocolates. And this year they included an assortment of chocolates for the 25th as an extra treat for actual Christmas Day. Bravo!!

Last year was my first experience with a Vosges Advent Calendar and I loved it and I’m talking about the box (chocolates to come later). It is beautiful, lights up, plays music and when opened is an experience surpassed by none. Well I couldn’t throw it away after Christmas so I kept and and crossed my fingers that they would offer a refill this year…and they did.

It arrived, cold packed and all I had to do was put the right number treat into the corresponding drawer. We started opening them on the 1st of December, and while different chocolates from past year, they have been exquisite thus far.

You may look at the prices of the actual Advent Calendars from Vosges and be intimidated, but the refill costs are just over half the original costs. I look forward to next years refills for my new Le Château and Nordic calendars we added this year.

I first ordered Vosges Haut in summer of 2024. It is the ONLY chocolate I will eat now! I order some every 5 months and keep it tightly wrapped in my freezer. The milk chocolate Skulls are one of my favorites. I got the Advent Calendar 2025 and it was truly amazing! The calendar itself is a beautiful Christmas decoration. Vosges Haut is the best chocolate I have ever tasted! I invite lady friends periodically for coffee and chocolate and they love it too.

During the season of Advent, each drawer presented a mystery to be opened on the particular calendar day, to reveal the treasure contained within the golden wrapping. What an exquisite experience each day as the unfolding yielded something new or something familiar and traditional yet with a delightful signature Vosges twist.

A standing ovation performance of imagination and amazing chocolate pairings led to an encore performance.

I’m happy to admit I bought the calendar last December and a refill in January. The chocolate is out of this world good and the advent calendar experience was fun enough to repeat. Bonus that the refill was on sale.
