Spiced Fig Smoothie

Foods that are alive, pure and activated with enzymes and minerals, like cacao and kefir, are high vibe. Ingredients in cacao increase blood flow and heart rate, while easing blood pressure and optimizing circulation. Kefir contains live and active cultures that help maintain a healthy and balanced gut. When combined, these two foods yield a tasty, nutritious treat.  

Ingredients:

Fig Smoothie
  • 3/4 cup of Lifeway® organic whole milk vanilla kefir
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/2 cup dried figs, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 Vosges Turmeric Ginger (or Matcha) Chocolate Bar

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients (except banana and ice cubes) to a blender and process until smooth
  2. Add banana and ice cubes, then blend until smooth
  3. Transfer to a serving glass
  4. Garnish with your chocolate bar
  5. Enjoy!
