Fruit is best paired with melted haut-chocolat! Melt down your favorite chocolate bars and dip whatever seasonal fruit you desire.
Our favorite combinations:
Gently rinse all fruits well and completely dry.
Line a baking sheet with waxed paper (if chilling).
Fill a 1-quart saucepan halfway with water and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Place broken up squares of chocolate bar in a metal mixing bowl. Place mixing bowl over boiling water. Reduce heat to medium.
Stir frequently to avoid chocolate burning.
Once completely melted, remove bowl from double boiler.
Dip desired fruit in chocolate. If chilling, place dipped fruit on lined baking sheet and chill for about 30 minutes or until chocolate covering is firm.
