Connecting to Your Source and Manifesting Intentions

Sometimes we all need a spark to jumpstart our energy and creative power to allow the universe to once again work its magic. Connecting to our spirituality and creating new paths is an important part of taking care of ourselves physically and mentally. When we allow for time to purposefully sync up our meditations with mindfulness, we offer ourselves the extraordinary opportunity to call abundance into our lives. 

Meditation has nearly infinite benefits both for our physical form and our emotional well-being. Meditation decreases stress and worry while it recharges our batteries. It allows for a higher consciousness that opens our minds, allows us to detach from negative energy and thoughts and makes us kinder and more empathetic. Our mission at Vosges is peace, love and chocolate, and meditation contributes to peace and love in abundance (we’ll be happy to supply the chocolate.)

Here are some of the practices and prompts we use for how to connect with your higher self.

Create space.

When you meditate, whether with it’s a guided meditation or on your own, you are bringing your thoughts and feelings together, creating a harmonious balance between the two. You are tapping into your inner wisdom and intuition and quieting the mind so that all your channels of thought are open.

Before you begin to meditate, create a spiritual realm for yourself. This can include pillows, fabric, crystals, flowers, music, a journal, writing implements and candles; really anything that brings you joy, calm and allows energy healing to impart itself on the objects and area you choose.

Prepare your gift of chocolate for YOU. Our chocolates will contribute to your meditation rituals as they are crystallized in a healing sound frequency tunnel, of 528Hz to infuse loving and healing energy into them.

Watch your breath.

As you begin your meditation, become aware of your own breath, taking deep cleansing breaths. Feel your body from head to toe and scan how each area of your body feels in the present moment. As you inhale, take in your dreams and desires. As you exhale, allow yourself to let go of all of the negative energy that takes away from them.

Watch your thoughts. 

As you meditate, allow all of your thoughts to be gazed upon. Don’t judge or label any of them. Don’t resist them. Allow them to flow over you and raise your vibrations rather than shrink them. All thoughts are okay. Don’t try to control them or achieve anything with them as you meditate. Consider them data rather than attaching feelings or meaning to them.  If you find that you are being bombarded with thoughts, get up. Walk around your space for thirty seconds and then sit in a new direction. This allows the mind to reboot, the body to be more at ease and for you to go deeper into the space where your source lies. 

Be gentle with yourself. 

Allow the energy you are drawing to yourself and your spirit serve you. If it doesn’t, allow yourself to let go of it without blame, ego or judgment. This is a way to be the gatekeeper and give yourself inner guidance to banish fear, doubt and negativity from your body and mind.

Clearing your mind through meditation creates the foundation for manifesting intentions for yourself in the most powerful way in the present moment. It prepares you for moments of divine inspiration, prosperity and abundance that will lead your future self filled with these gifts. 

Affirm what you want.

Take your journal or a special piece of paper and write a list of things you wish to manifest for yourself through this spiritual journey. Write the manifestation as if it is happening in the present. You may also wish to write about manifestations coming to fruition at a certain moment in the future. Goals, wishes, dreams and desires all deserve space on this list. Big and small manifestations all fit.

How do you want to feel?

Focus on how you want your future self to feel as your manifestations become reality. How will your body feel when your dreams come into being. How will your mind feel when you feel filled up with the power and energy of your abilities to manifest your goals. What will seeing, hearing, smelling and tasting results feel like? How will they each contribute to your true nature. Write these points of data down, too.

Let your manifestations go.

Once you have stated your intentions and attached feelings to their outcomes, it is time to let them go. Your manifestations require incubation in the ether. While it may seem difficult at first not to babysit and control your manifestations, allow yourself the belief and grace to let the universe do this work for you.

Reflect on your manifestations.

Revisit your list from time to time to see the progress you have made by placing priority on your time to manifest your intentions. You might also try taking your list, sealing it in an envelope, addressing it to yourself and asking someone to send it to you when you feel it will most resonate with you to be reunited with it.

Celebrate your wins.

Manifestations coming to fruition are no small feat. They can be moment changing or life changing. It is important to take time to show gratitude and recognition for your wins. Write your wins down, too. This space in your journal is a place to come back to and savor.
